The Mews Dashboard is the homepage of Mews Operations. It's the central hub of your business, where you can quickly see vital statistics and navigate to frequently used parts of the system.
Mews chooses the default bookable service to display on the dashboard based on the Ordering selection in your bookable service settings and not on the date you create the service. The system then pre-filters your Timeline and the reports to your default service.
Note:
- You can change the bookable service that your Mews Dashboard displays anytime by changing its Ordering value in your bookable service settings.
- You can also choose the service that you want to work on after logging in, from the "Select service" drop down on the Mews Dashboard. The system remembers your service selection and pre-filters the Timeline and all reports to the selected service right until you log out, so you don’t have to keep switching services in report filters when working across multiple screens.
As seen below, the Dashboard is divided into nine sections, which provide you with relevant information for different departments, such as housekeeping, front-office, reservations and more. The Dashboard displays circles which Mews refers as "Donuts". They include a summary of the day along with items that require your action. while providing other useful information. Mews display the donuts in different colors. You can learn more about them here.
