How to exclude space categories from space upgrades offer during online check-in

In Mews, you can increase revenue by offering guests the option to upgrade to higher-priced spaces during online check-in. Once you enable it, the system automatically checks if there are any spaces in a higher category available and offers them to guests. You can also chose to exclude specific space categories from upgrade offers during online check-in to better control the availability of premium spaces. This option allows you to maintain flexibility and optimize the usage of higher-tier spaces. You can exclude certain spaces from the upgrade offer at any time. 

 

To exclude space categories from space upgrades offer:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Settings > Services.
  2. Click the bookable service.
  3. Click Space categories.
  4. Click to select the space category to exclude from the offer.
  5. In Options, click to select Exclude from upgrade in online check in.

  1. Click Save.
  2. Repeat steps 4-6 for all space categories you want to exclude. 

 

This excludes space categories from the space upgrade offers during online check-in.
