Housekeeping management of long-stay reservations

Properties that offer long-stay services and cater to long-stay reservations, for example, apartments, student accommodation, hybrid properties that are a mix of rooms and apartments, do not need to offer daily housekeeping. You can provide housekeeping services once per week or two for long-stay reservations by adjusting the housekeeping interval.

How to adjust the housekeeping intervals for long-stay reservations 

You can manage housekeeping services for long-stay reservations by adjusting the Housekeeping interval for these services. Properties can adjust the housekeeping intervals: 
 

For long-stay services   

Once you build multiple long-stay services in Mews you can adjust the housekeeping intervals to tailor-make the housekeeping services for individual service. To adjust the housekeeping interval for long-stay services:  

  1. Go to the main menu Screenshot_2.png > Settings > Services and click on the long-stay service you want to modify the Housekeeping interval for.  
  2. Under General settings > Housekeeping interval, enter the number of days after which you want to provide housekeeping.  
  3. Then scroll down to the Options section. Under Visit options unselect the “Check-in makes space dirty” option.  
  4. Click Save.
 

For hybrid properties 

Alternatively, if your property is a mix of rooms and apartments, you can adjust the setting as follows: 

  1. Go to the main menu Screenshot_2.png > Settings > Services
  2. Click on the stay service you want to adjust the setting for, example Apartments > Space categories.
  3. Click on the space category you want to modify the housekeeping interval for.  
  4. Scroll down to Housekeeping interval. Enter the number of days after which you want to provide housekeeping. 
  5. Click Save
